The Kessler Theater in Oak Cliff is just blocks away from where Ray Wylie Hubbard grew up. We recently caught up with Ray before a Kessler show, and he drove us around telling Road Story's. Here is one of our favorites.
We were lucky enough to spend some time down in Port Aransas with our buddy Cody Canada when he taped his live album "Some Old, Some New, Maybe a Cover or Two." Here is Cody with a Road Story about some of the friends/family he has made along the way.
Bill Carter's contributions to Austin Music are immeasurable, and that's if you just count is songwriting. He and his band The Blame put out an album called, "Unknown" last year that really stood out to us. Here is Bill and the story behind this album.
One of our favorite cats on the planet stopped by to play a few songs and talk about their new project. The Matt The Cat Trio treated us to some classic Rockabilly with their tune "When I Try To Be Cool." Here is Matt and the boys on the Crown Royal Texas Stage!
This week we kick things of with our very own Ray Benson and Asleep at the Wheel. They perform "Boogie Back to Texas" on the Whataburger Performance of the Week!

The last year or so has been a huge success for William Clark Green. No doubt, his album "Rose Queen" has this Tyler native riding a big wave of momentum. He is armed with some really good songs, and a great band. Here he is in our Whataburger Performance of the Week with "Dead or in Jail."
